At first I hated this car's existence, because they'd replaced the 910kg Exige with a 1180kg Exige and massive weight gains on a Lotus is wrong, but adding a V6 has pushed it up a notch in terms of performance, and if you look at it another way, a 350bhp car that weighs less then 1200kg is pretty damn fast. Reviewers also say it's extremely good to drive, so there's that.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAH I hate hotlink protection!

Is there anyway to bypass it?

I downloaded it to my computer. Hopefully it'll work now!

Downloading it works. With some sites, you just need to re-type the URL and hit enter so you're no longer hotlinking (or something). Other sites are just bastards.

In a way, they're finally making the Elise and the Exige to be two separate models, with distinct design, purposes and pricing, without room for mistake. It's still lighter than its most direct rivals (IMO, the atmo 911 and the V8 R8).

They aren't hardcore enough to be rivals IMO.

I don't doubt people cross shop them nonetheless. The numerical matter is identical, it's a matter of wanting the skullcrushing mode or a more sanitized, DDable sort.

And people who want the former won't be looking at the latter.

I think it's more true the other way round. Either that or I'm not as insane as I am generally led to think.
